Privacy Policy — My Goal Book

This page explains what personal data My Goal Book ("we", "the app") collects when you use the service at mygoalbook.info, how we use it, and the controls you have. This page is maintained by the app owner and is provided for transparency — it is not a legal contract and it is not an independent certification.

1. Data we collect

Account data — email address, and (via one-time password) proof that you own that address.
Profile data you provide — full name, date of birth, gender, phone, company/organization, city, state, country, and profile photo.
Goal content you create — goal title, description, category, target date, and any images you upload.
Usage records — login timestamps, goal-book generation events, and administrative activity log entries used for audit and support.

2. How we use it

To sign you in and keep your session secure.
To display your goals, dashboard, and printable Goal Book.
To let program organizers view aggregated analytics and manage shortlists of participants.
To send you transactional notifications about your account and Goal Book activity.
To investigate abuse and keep the service reliable.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where your data is stored

Data is stored in the app's managed Lovable Cloud backend (Supabase-hosted Postgres and object storage). Access is protected by row-level security policies so that regular users can only read and write their own records. Administrators have access to aggregated data and to individual records where required to operate the program.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, database, email delivery). We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

5. Your rights

Access & correction — you can view and edit your profile and goals from your dashboard at any time.
Export — you can download your Goal Book as a PDF from the Goal Book page.
Deletion — you can permanently delete your account and associated content from your Account page.
Withdraw consent — signing out and requesting deletion withdraws consent for further processing.

6. Retention

Active accounts retain their data indefinitely so your Goal Book stays available. When you delete your account, your profile, goals, goal-book records, notifications, and uploaded images are removed. Aggregated, non-identifying records (for example counts used in analytics) and audit-log entries required for security may be retained.

7. Security

The service uses HTTPS in transit, row-level security in the database, and separates administrator privileges by role. Uploaded images are stored in private buckets and served via short-lived signed URLs. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

8. Children

My Goal Book is intended for participants of the associated program and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on this page along with a new "Last updated" date.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or deletion requests you cannot complete in the app, contact the program administrator listed in your welcome communication.
